SARAH CHRISTINE, ON A MISSION TOGETHER. UNITE AND FIGHT THE CORONA VIRUS / COVID 19.

IN IT TOGETHER! This has been our theme since day one when we began our music journey together. Now we need to unite more than ever!  Today was a tough day, I’ve had shows postponed due to COVID-19.  Instead of responding with remorse, we replied with “Thank you for keeping everyone safe”.

To be honest, when this all first came out, I was one of those gals who thought this was some media craze to make everyone panic in a time of reelection and market changes.   Very quickly I realized how wrong I was. Heather (my girlfriend) knew all along and warned me of the possible implications, but my stubborn self was hesitant. Now I’m even driving home to MN to see my Mom vs. flying so I don’t accidently expose her cancer and immune system to any increased risk.  We are taking precautions to ensure we can have a safe music experience for everyone, and we are getting creative on how we can do that in new ways through nontraditional methods. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY in a time where concerts and experiences have been pulled back from our plans, we charge forward to PAY IT FORWARD and give back.  

We stayed up all night brainstorming some solutions stemming from our venture to a chaotic grocery store in Denver last night.  No essentials.  Empty shelves. Nothing but people running around in a panicked craze.  More than ever it felt like we were all on our own, some hoarding products, when this is a time to not take to self, but think of one another and take care of each-other, even if that means social distancing and being a part.

As one demographic of many that can and will be impacted, we thought about our elders. How will they get their essentials…? Those not in nursing homes or without family near? They’re just left to “figure it out”…?  Well we want to HELP!

We are pleased to announce we partnered with our local Meals on Wheels and came up with a cool plan.  In addition to Meals on Wheels supplying food to those in need, we have a plan in place on our end to compliment their efforts and drop off supplies seniors need. We will be purchasing these on behalf of Sarah Christine Music.  Every T-Shirt you purchase, is giving back!  Will you join the “In It Together” movement that has been our core value since day one?

And to all my friends in music tonight, may we all come together in song in a time of new learnings, sacrifice, and financial impact.  Now more than ever, we need to all be in each other’s corner rooting for one another.  The big fish, the small fish, we all share the same pond.
